This project focused on resetting a basement storage area to make items easier to see, access, and maintain, while also creating space for belongings that had overflowed into the adjacent recreation room. The rec room needed to be cleared so my clients could install new flooring, which meant incorporating its items into the main storage area in a way that felt intentional and sustainable.

The basement also functioned as a workout zone and tool storage area, so part of my work centered on reorganizing those sections for better flow, safety, and daily usability.

In the end, the rec room was fully emptied and is now ready to become a lounge and craft room once the new flooring is installed. The storage area has been streamlined to maximize shelf space, reduce visual clutter, and keep frequently used items within easy reach — including for the shorter members of the household.
