Office Reorganization & Shared Workspace Setup

This client needed support reorganizing her office to make room for a second staff member and to create a more intentional, functional shared workspace. The existing layout would not have accommodated an officemate and the room had become haphazard over time, with papers, supplies, and materials filling nearly every surface and making it difficult to stay organized or use the space efficiently.

I redesigned the layout to create better flow, reduced surface clutter, and reorganized existing storage systems, including file cabinets and bookshelves. The reworked plan made space for a second desk, additional shelving, and a small conference area without expanding the footprint of the room. A key part of this project also involved hanging art on the office walls, as well as a wall clock, to bring my client and her colleague’s personalities to the space.

The result is a more functional office space that supports collaboration, reduces visual clutter, and feels intentional and usable for both team members.

  • Space Type: Church office / shared workspace
